“It Came from the Nightosphere” DVD Arriving March 6 So we guess Adventure Time’s first DVD, My Two Favorite People, did pretty well, or at least well enough to warrant a new DVD collection. And while this isn’t the full-season set lots of us have been anticipating (it’s in the works, we should point out), this set will make the wait for that release a bit more endurable. Starring Jake the dog and Finn the human – not to mention the rock-loving Marceline, bodacious Lumpy Space Princess, frigid Ice King and many others – this sophomore release from the Emmy® Award-nominated series will include 16 fun and exciting episodes from the series’ three magical seasons, plus a “Little Did You Know” character profile bonus feature. Additionally, Adventure Time continues to dominate and grow at retail across a multitude of product categories, including toys, apparel, accessories and much more. The toy line from Jazwares has been a hit since its debut at Toys”R”Us this fall and will continue to expand SKUs and retailers throughout the spring, while the line of apparel, accessories, calendars, sleepwear and more continue to grow for the brand each week. Fans and critics alike have found their place on the Adventure Time bandwagon. Since its third season debut in July 2011, almost 10 million kids have tuned in to watch the latest season of the series so far and it consistently ranks as the #1 show on Monday nights and in its time slot with both kids and boys 6-11, according to Nielson Media Research. Television critics and entertainment writers have also found themselves drawn to the land of Ooo and hypnotized by the characters and adventures they’ve seen.
